Our Process

Our practice is intentional, careful, and slow.

Every plant we work with is either cultivated or respectfully foraged in Ladakh at altitudes above 3,500 metres, where harsh winters, intense sunlight, and mineral-rich soil shape resilience and potency. These extreme growing conditions concentrate aromatic and functional compounds, giving high-altitude botanicals their distinctive vitality.

We harvest only at precise stages of maturity when the plant’s energetic and biochemical expression is at its peak. Timing is essential. A few days too early or too late can alter potency, aroma, and balance. We work in rhythm with the season, not against it.

Cultivation and foraging are done by hand with ecological awareness. We never harvest beyond regenerative capacity and remain mindful of the fragility of Himalayan ecosystems. Sustainability is not a secondary consideration, it is embedded in our practice.

From harvesting to drying, cleaning, infusing, blending, and bottling, every step is done entirely by hand, in small quantities. This allows us to maintain traceability, the highest quality, and attentiveness at each stage of preparation.

Our formulations are guided by traditional Himalayan plant wisdom, including principles found within Sowa Rigpa, where balance, synergy, and energetics are central. At the same time, we remain attentive to contemporary standards of hygiene, safety, and consistency.

We do not mechanise what requires sensitivity.
We do not accelerate what requires patience.

By working in limited batches, we honour both the plant and the process, ensuring that what reaches you retains the integrity of its origin.
