Workshops

.

We are delighted to host a range of intimate, hands-on workshops across a selection of beautiful properties in Ladakh.

Our location partners include Le Mentok Wellness Resort, Anicca: A Trans-Himalayan Lab for Thought and Practice, and other thoughtfully chosen spaces that offer a naturally immersive and inspiring setting for learning, making, and connecting with traditions, landscape and people.

Our workshops are designed to be informative, educational, immersive and experiential, offering participants an opportunity to learn and practice through direct, hands-on engagement.

Depending on your interests, our offerings include:

  • Natural Dyeing Workshops — introductory sessions (for a day) as well as more intensive explorations (that can extend to a whole week) into the art of working with natural dyes, plants, and traditional dyeing techniques.
  • Plant Pigment Extraction and Crayon Making Workshops: introduction to pigment extraction from various plants and using the pigments to make crayons. Perfect for kids!
  • Tea-Making Workshops — an introduction to the art and ritual of tea, exploring ingredients, understanding plant energetics, preparation methods, and the cultural traditions surrounding tea.
  • Wellness Product-Making Workshops — learn how to create simple, natural wellness products using thoughtfully sourced botanical and traditional ingredients.
  • Introduction to Sowa Rigpa — an introductory exploration of the traditional Tibetan system of medicine, its foundational principles, and its relationship with plants, wellness, and everyday life.
  • Other Experiential Workshops — we also curate and develop workshops around traditional knowledge, Himalayan botanicals, craft, and holistic wellbeing.

Our workshops can be tailored to different levels of interest, from introductory experiences for those who are simply curious, to more immersive sessions for participants who wish to explore a particular practice in greater depth.

To ensure an intimate and meaningful experience, we require minimum group size of five participants to conduct a workshop. If you are travelling to Ladakh with a group, hosting a retreat, or simply looking to create a unique learning experience, we would be happy to explore possibilities with you.
